Another great feature of the Contour USB is the GLUCOFACTS Deluxe Software. This software is installed on your computer for use with most Bayer Glucose Meters and can be accessed by simply plugging in to USB port of your computer. With windows software it should automatically upload all your data. Your meter has another feature that has eliminated a common hastle found in most other glucose meters. The battery is rechargable on the Contour USB and is charged by directly plugging into your computer. There is an additional USB extension cable included in case your USB port is set behind your computer or harder to access. With the auto-code, you simply insert a Bayer Contour Test Strip into the glucose meter to start testing. Normally you would have to match the code with each test strip.
